The biocarbon-filled thermoplastic composite from Varroc is an ideal material for making light weighting auto parts. Biocarbon is a solid material obtained from the thermochemical conversion of biomass such as agricultural waste and forest residue among others. Along with reducing the weight of the final composite by 8 to 10%, it is sustainable and a promising bio-based replacement for mineral fillers such as Talc and CaCo.
