Nomi Saikia is an Assistant Professor at the Symbiosis Institute of Design, specializing in Fashion Communication and related disciplines. She holds a masters degree from National Institute of Fashion Technology(NIFT),Delhi and possesses over a decade of professional experience spanning fashion design, curation and styling. In 2025, she made the transition to academia in SID where she now inspires students to explore the intersections of fashion, culture and communication. She is committed to fostering student creativity and professionalism by integrating real world insights into classroom learning. Beyond academia and fashion, Nomi’s creativity thrives through her love for cooking, music and doodling-passions that continually influence her approach to design and storytelling.
