Ashwini Ayachit is a seasoned Teaching Assistant with over 10 years of experience and a Masters in Fashion Design. Her expertise includes Pattern Making, Garment Construction, Textile and Surface Craft, Draping, and Advanced Pattern making Techniques. Her primary goal is to enhance students’ knowledge through innovative teaching methods. In her academic role, she meticulously updates course syllabi to meet industry demands and prepares detailed learning materials and handouts. She tailors session plans to optimize learning and adjust teaching strategies based on student feedback, actively involving students in external design competitions and organizing educational field trips.
Ashwini plays a key role in student evaluation, serving on juries and managing grading systems, mentoring students on research projects and craft internships, and supporting their publication efforts.
