Holding a master's degree in Clothing and Textiles from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, her scholarly journey delves deep into India's diverse crafts through immersive workshops with regional artisans.
She excels in pioneering surface design techniques and curating meticulously researched design collections. She is adept at nurturing students' fashion illustration skills across traditional and digital mediums. Beyond her academic pursuits, she finds joy in crafting handmade jewelry under her own label.
As a contemporary designer, she has garnered acclaim for collaborative textile artworks with Kutch craftsmen, drawing inspiration from the timeless Ajrakh craft. Her creations have graced esteemed institutions such as the Victoria Melbourne Museum and the National Museum, Delhi, alongside featured publications. Celebrating Indian streets was another of her Recognition for her concept-driven textile art showcased at the India Art and Design Biennale, Delhi, 2023 under the Ministry of Culture.
