Sailee holds a Master of Arts in Indology and a Master of Fine Arts in Applied Arts, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Applied Arts as her foundational degree. Sailee has three years of experience as a Graphic Designer, having worked at Shivaranjani Auvios Pvt. Ltd. and Simply Words. She has been an Assistant Professor at Dr. D Y Patil College of Applied Arts and Crafts, Savitribai Phule Pune University, for five years. Since 2021, she has been associated with the Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID).

At SID, Sailee teaches various courses, including Design Fundamentals, Visualization Techniques, Society Environment Design, Design Processes Thinking, Introduction to User Experience Design, Visual Ergonomics for Human-Computer Interaction, Information Design, Visual Identity Design for Human-Computer Interaction, Visualization Narrative Structure. She also mentors students for Craft Documentation Internships, Projects, and Service Learning. Sailee's research focuses on Design Pedagogy, Typography, Branding, User Experience Design, and Art & Culture.

Her interests span calligraphy, illustrations, visual design, branding, visual identity creation, advertising campaigns, user interfaces, user experience, copywriting, and yoga.
