As a firm believer that learning never ends, Dr. Manohar Desai completed two Graduations B.F.A. Applied and B.F.A. Fine Arts (4 yrs. each). Teaching related two Diplomas - ATD and Dip. A. Ed. (1yr each). Two Post Graduations - M.A. Indology and M.F.A. Applied Arts (2yrs each) and Ph. D from 200 yrs old highly reputed Deccan College University; Pune with the topic Devanagri script letter character development under the guidance of font designer Late. Prof. Mukund Gokhale and Dr. Abhijit Dandekar. He is very proud to have studied at Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya; Pune, Raheja School of Art; Mumbai, Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth; Pune, College of Visual Arts; Indapur, Pune and Deccan College University; Pune.

Teaching being his passion, Dr. Manohar has expertise in multiple areas in the design curriculum - Basic Design, Calligraphy and Typography, Branding and Advertising, Packaging Design and Product rendering, Wayfinding Signage systems, User Interface Graphic Design, Craft studies, etc.

He has worked in the industry as a Calligrapher, Illustrator and designer for the last 25 years. And is associated with many institutions and production houses to contribute his calligraphy art and designs for publications, music albums, movies and dramas. He has taken calligraphy as a form on canvas and has experimented with its application in space.

He displayed more than 15 solo and group shows in many galleries of India and abroad. He participated in International Calligraphy Exhibition and conference at St. Petersburg, Moscow and Novgorod in Russia and Minneapolis in U.S.A. Ten of his calligraphy works have found place in the distinguished International Calligraphy Museum, Moscow.
