Internships

Our Bachelor of Design Programme includes two types of internships.
1
Graduation Project Internship: 
This internship is of 4-months duration. Final year students are expected to go for an Industry Internship during the last semester (8th Semester) The timelines of the Internship are usually from Dec-April.

Summer Internship: 
The summer Internship is for a duration of 2 months; usually between late May or early June to mid July. UG Students are expected to go for their Summer Internships after the completion of their third year examinations. This internship is aimed to provide short-term supervised work experience usually related to a student’s specific field of study or career aspirations.
The objective of embedding internship experiences within the curriculum framework is to create an opportunity for professional development of students and recent graduates to gain experience and prepare themselves for industry standards. Continuous monitoring and evaluation by the mentor faculty are provided to ensure added value while doing internships. At the end of the internship programme, the internship work is scrutinized and evaluated.
