Bharat Forge Ltd. has a world-class, state-of-the-art advanced fatigue testing facility approved by global OEMs for the validation of various components to ensure a higher and consistent level of quality.
Our testing facility includes a resonant testing method for bending and torsion fatigue tests of crankshafts, ranging from smaller capacity passenger cars to large capacity marine and rail crankshafts. The resonant fatigue test is carried out using electrodynamic shaker systems with capacities ranging from 150 Kgf to 2700 Kgf at fully reversed loading conditions.
Other automotive components like front axle beams, rear axle beams, stub axles, and connecting rods undergo fatigue testing using servo hydraulic actuator rigs with capacities of 250 KN and 630 KN. Our fatigue testing capabilities include advanced facilities for strain measurement, crack detection techniques, and complete metallurgical analysis of fatigue failure specimens. This enables Bharat Forge Ltd. to provide complete end-to-end solutions to its customers, from product conceptualization to design, manufacturing, validation, and testing.
